Description

Make Dosing easy, effective & consistent with Dosatron (How will it help you?)

Dosatron is a non-electric water-powered dosing  (metering) pump. It is used for proportional dosing and mixing of water-soluble oils like Cutting Oil, Grinding Oil, Die-Casting Lubricant, Surface Treatment, etc. From extraction to finished parts, metals are subjected to many transformations before reaching their final use (automotive sector, aeronautics sector, railway sector, industrial valves and pumps, general mechanics, precision mechanics, etc…).

Some process steps require the use of water with the addition of additives: cutting fluid for machining, silicone for postage, detergent for cleaning and degreasing, etc…

Although water quality plays a significant role in these applications, the performance of additive dosing is crucial, contributing to product quality, optimizing operating costs, and also capable of processing most of the additives in the industry, DOSATRON offers a technical solution that is both efficient and cost-effective, particularly for viscous additives requiring high incorporation rates (>5%).

How
Dosatron non-electric pump work?

Installed directly in the water supply line, the Dosatron operates by using the flow of water as the power source. The water activates the Dosatron, which takes up the required percentage of oil directly from the container and injects it into the water. Inside the Dosatron, the concentrate is mixed with the water, and the water pressure forces the solution downstream. The dose of concentrate will be directly proportional to the volume of water entering the Dosatron, regardless of variations in flow or pressure, which may occur in the mainline.

Mixing the water and chemical in 3 Easy Steps!

1.  When water enters the pump, it triggers the hydraulic motor, which begins moving up and down inside the body of the pump.

2.  As the piston moves up and down, the plunger, connected to the bottom, cycles in a vertical stroke.

3.  In both the up and down stroke, your chemical concentrate is dosed into the moving water stream providing a consistent and repeatable solution.
